This home is dubbed as the Glass House in the Trees. We are traveling to Cape Town, South Africa for this weeks edition of World Wednesday. Before we get to the details on this beautiful yet trendy home, let’s go over some fun facts about Cape Town:

  5. Most popular areas to visit: Cape of Good Hope, Cliftons 4th Beach, Table Rock Mountain National Park, Two Oceans Aquarium and always, the shopping attractions as well.

Van der Merwe Miszewski Architects are the creators behind this beautiful home that is integrated into the trees. This home boasts huge beams and all glass exteriors walls, it still manages to blend into the forest around it. Apart from having great views with the benefit of having glass walls, they can be slid open to let the fresh air in as well as the scents of the fauna outside. The wood floors and use of blinds, stainless steel and minimalist decor gives them home a wonderful serene quality.
