World Wednesday: Hamburg, Germany

In this edition of World Wednesday, we are traveling to Hamburg, Germany! Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany after Berlin and is the 8th largest city in the European Union. Hamburg has a total population of 1.8 million. Hamburg consists of an oceanic climate. It is primarily influenced by how close it is in relation to the coast as well as other marine air masses that originate over the Atlantic Ocean.

This beautiful home was built in 1860 by German-Swiss architect Auguste de Meuron. It was one of his last works created in the Wilhelminian-style. This home in the front entrance proudly boasts a marble staircase, which is amazing in itself.
