It’s World Wednesday again here at Rooforia! And this time we are traveling back to our home country to this unique home inside a clock tower in New York City!

Here are some fast facts about New York City before we get into the meat of the details on this amazing and unique home:

  • Most Populous City in the United States

  • Population of almost 8.2 Million

  • Has one of the worlds largest natural harbors

  • Described as the cultural, media, and financial capital of the world

  • The name New York got its name from Charles II of England when he granted the lands to his brother the Duke of York.

This 7,000 square foot apartment is spread over 3 floors and boasts a few brag worthy features such as the clock tower hands doubling as a window. Those measure between 16-50 feet! This unique home first went on the market in January of 2010 asking 25 million only to downgrade eventually to 15 million. The home was bought by a Columbian born Gallery Owner and art dealer Lio Malca. He worked with the developer for 4 years to make this deal happen.
